Having preserved its medieval heritage, don’t hesitate to stroll through its shady streets lined with beautiful renovated Provencal houses and bastides. Truffle House

Housed in the former Saint-Jacques hospice in the heart of the village, the Maison de la Truffe is proof of Aups’ reputation as the capital of the “black diamond”. Embark on an adventure for young and old, novices and enthusiasts alike, who will need to use all their senses to discover this piece of history and terroir that is the truffle within the history of Haute Provence.

Faykod Museum

Are the Gorges du Verdon not enough of a change of scenery for you? Come and discover the dreamlike world of Maria de Faykod. This renowned artist, a graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Paris, is exhibiting some thirty sculptures in a beautiful park planted with trees.

The Oil Mill store

Located near the main square, this store is a veritable Aups institution. For three generations, this mill has produced one of the finest olive oils in the PACA region, and boasts an impressive number of awards, including numerous gold medals from the Salon de l’Agriculture. In the store, you can buy olive oil, but also discover other products from the Var region: tapenades, objects made from olive wood, handmade soaps, and more. A tour of the mill is offered free of charge, followed by a tasting to delight your taste buds. Discover our production methods, from harvesting the olives to cold extraction of the juice, combining tradition and modernity to offer an increasingly exceptional quality product.
